The Christmas feast was fantastic! The food was homemade and absolutely delicious. The location was also great, close to all the tourist attractions and hiking trails. We also loved the family-friendly environment; the hosts were warm and welcoming and even arranged for a traditional Romanian night with children singing carols.
The rooms were a bit cold even though the outside temperature wasn't too low. the lack of activities during Christmas day was a bit disappointing.

The location of this guesthouse is average for exploring nearby sights and villages. the traditional room we stayed in was small and lacked modern amenities, though the decor was charming. the bathroom was cramped and had no toiletries. Service was poor and we felt unwelcome. Breakfast was basic and unappetizing. There is no view to speak of and the facilities were limited.
The price was exorbitant for the quality of service provided.

Wonderful hosts, knowledgeable about surroundings, ideal location, beautifully decorated room, traditional Romanian breakfasts, delicious omelette.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect for exploring nearby villages, and the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure I had everything I needed and providing helpful tips about nearby transportation options. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and definitely worth waking up early for.
Don't have any issues at all.

The rooms were unexpectedly warm and cozy, especially for the region. We were impressed by the variety of traditional and modern rooms available. the hosts offered a lot of fun activities to make our stay even more enjoyable. the location was perfect for exploring the Maramures region and we appreciated the bike rentals offered by the hotel.
